One problem those of us who travel with dogs regularly face is what to do with our pets when we have a place to go or an activity to do that doesn’t allow dogs.
Listener Judy shares a website she used called Rover.com, which claims to be the nation’s largest network of pet sitters and dog walkers. It’s a very easy site to use.
Judy says she was prompted to find a solution like Rover.com out of a desire to not risk leaving her dog alone in an RV with the potential for the air conditioning to go out.
“I’ve had them come out and sit my dog or I can bring my dog to their place,” Judy told us.
To use the service, just type in your location, and what kind of service you need for your animal or animals. You’ll be returned a list of qualified people you can book. One of the things Judy said she liked best was the ability to check references of service providers.
