There’s a whole bunch of us camping in the cold northwoods in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula this weekend and though we’re surrounded by massive amounts of snow, we are nice and toasty warm inside our RVs.
We’re at Tahquamenon Falls State Park and this is an annual event for most of us, filled with snowshoeing, big campfires, hiking, photography and – this year – dogsledding.

But one question we get asked a lot is how do you stay warm inside the RV? Besides our heaters, the secret for many of us is Reflectix, a reflective bubble wrap form of insulation. It comes in 25 foot long rolls at the big box home improvement stores like Lowes and Home Depot.
