How We Roll in our RV: Finding rental and used Roadtreks

You can tell winter is wearing thin and folks are starting to think about spring and warm weather because we’re getting lots of questions about people wanting to rent a Roadtrek or find a used one to purchase.

So in this edition of How We Roll in our RV, we try and answer both.

Bottom line is – you will have to work at it. Roadtreks are in high demand, both for rental units and for used ones to purchase.

And the Roadtrek International Chapter of the Family Motorcoach Association has a list of used units that are for sale by owners around North America. You can also search RV sales websites and even Craig’s List.

    Eyes on the road, Mike! Yikes….I was a nervous wreck just watching this. Wouldn’t you say filming while driving is no different from texting while driving, or worse?

    Agreed – good used ones are hard to find. I spent about 6 months scouring the country online before I spotted mine – a 2006 RS Adventurous with few miles. Several others were candidates, but they were snapped up before I got to them.
    Mine was in New Mexico – I’m in Minnesota. Put about 3,500 miles on before I got back home with it. As you might expect, met a delightful couple at their rural NM home who extended warm hospitality to us while we completed the deal.
