A 900 Pound Adventure Camper you can tow with a car

There's a growing class of motorless, towable RVs called Adventure Campers.

They're aimed at the boondocking, off-the-grid market. Here's one we saw recently while visiting an RV dealer in Michigan. It's called the Tiger Moth and its made by a company called taxaoutdoors.com

It's expensive. MSRP is $18,000, though the one we saw was on the lot for under $15,000. Still, on the high end.

But we found it interesting. And, yes, it can easily be towed by most any type of car.

What do you think of it?

Too expensive! We owned a LivinLite QuickSilver for many years and loved it. Pulled it with our Subaru Forester. Just $5800 new and slept 6. Sold it 6 years later for $5K. They hold their value! Many fond memories with the kids in the QuickSilver. With all the recent talk of new ultralite towables, LivinLite has been doing it for years. Visited their factory in Elkhart, Indiana and was very impressed. Check them out! https://www.livinlite.com
